Congratulations to President-Elect Barack Obama!

Congratulations to the people of these great United States for choosing Barack Obama as the next President of the United States of America

Now that the people have spoken we must join forces to continue to build this Nation.

This can only happen in America, all Americans can be proud of this moment in history.

Let us not dwell on what others have said that divides us, but let us focus on what unites us, to build the greatest nation on the planet, in spite of what some have attempted to do.

Editor's Comment: The issue about eligibility to be president is neither male or female, black or white, it is about being right. Not about right wing or left wing but being on the American wing. Not about creating fear and paranoia but about leadership, trust and integrity.
Americans should not live in fear of their own government, unsure of its commitment to the ideals we hold dear.  We should be confident that decisions made that affect our lives now and in the future are informed, and stand on a foundation of truth, decency, fairness and justice. As Americans we strive for self improvement and democracy.  We are committed to overcoming any adversary but it should not be at the expense of our national identity or soul.  We should not be cajoled into a paralyzed state of fear.
After years of fear and paranoia, new leadership has emerged ready to invigorate Americans, ready to put us back on the path that made us proud, confident, ready and accepted as a world leader.
